ATTENDANCE AT CHAPTER MEETINGS & SEMINARS (Active Voting Memberships Only)
*NOTE: Requests for approval of credits, that are not prequalified, are handled by the Continuing Legal Education committee. Each request for approval is considered on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted, along with supporting documentation, within 45 days of the completion of the credits or by attaching supporting documentation to this form. (Mandatory WCPE program governed by duly adopted bylaws)
TEACHING (Active Voting Memberships Only)
TEACHING CREDIT: Active voting members teaching or participating in an approved activity shall receive one (1) credit for each 60 minutes spent in attendance at and teaching in a presentation of such activity, and one (1) credit for each 60 minutes spent in preparation time, provided that in no event shall more than four (4) hours of credit be awarded for the preparation of one (1) hour or less of actual presentation. Paralegals who also attended a portion of the course may claim attendance credit for those hours in the "Attendance" portion of the form.
WCPE EXEMPTION: (Associate/Student Only) My membership status is ASSOCIATE or STUDENT, therefore I am not required to comply with the Continuing Legal Education Requirements and am exempt from WCPE reporting. (initial here)
